Scott Engineering Co. Ltd. is a long established engineering company, which was founded by Mr. George Scott in 1979 primarily as toolmakers and manufacturers of bespoke components for the various blue chip companies in the west coast of Scotland. From a humble beginning the company has steadily expanded over the years and is now located in a 7000sq/ft factory in Stevenston, Ayrshire.

The company was sold to the Calder family in 2004 with Mr. Scott remaining as General Manager and consultant.

The company has secured a niche marketplace by providing specialised services to the food, chemical, shipping, aerospace, nuclear and plastic industries.

Over the years the company has diversified its activities to include tool making, jig, horizontal & vertical boring, CNC milling/turning, welding/fabrication, grinding, hydraulic, electrical and design.
